As an employee in Workbench, you'll participate in performance reviews, complete self-assessments, and view your performance history and compensation. This guide will help you navigate these features.
Your role: Complete self-reviews during active review cycles, view feedback from your manager, track your performance over time, and understand your compensation history.
Employee Dashboard
When you log in, you'll see your Employee Dashboard with an overview of your review status and quick access to common tasks.

- Pending Actions: See if you have a self-review to complete
- Current Review Cycle: View details about the active review cycle
- Performance Summary: Quick view of your recent performance metrics
- Quick Actions: Access self-reviews, performance history, compensation, and profile
Completing Your Self-Review
During an active review cycle, you'll need to complete a self-review. This is your opportunity to reflect on your performance and share your perspective with your manager.
Accessing Your Self-Review
- Navigate to Review Cycles from your dashboard
- Click on the active review cycle
- You'll see your participation status and current stage
- Click to open your review and begin the self-review stage
What to Include in Your Self-Review
- Self-Assessment: Reflect on your performance, achievements, and challenges
- Goals: Review your goals from the previous period and set new ones
- Accomplishments: Highlight key achievements and contributions
- Areas for Growth: Identify areas where you'd like to develop
- Performance Metrics: Rate yourself on the performance metrics (if applicable)
Completing the Self-Review
- Take Your Time: Self-reviews are important—give thoughtful responses
- Be Honest: Provide an accurate assessment of your performance
- Be Specific: Use examples and concrete achievements when possible
- Save Progress: You can save your work and return to complete it later
- Submit When Ready: Once complete, submit your self-review to advance to the next stage

Viewing Feedback
After your manager completes their review, you'll be able to view their feedback:
- Manager's Evaluation: See how your manager rated you on performance metrics
- Feedback Comments: Read your manager's written feedback, strengths, and areas for improvement
- Goals: Review goals set for the next period
- Review Status: Track the status of your review through the approval process
Note: Feedback may not be immediately available. Your manager needs to complete their review, and the review may need to go through an approval process before you can see the final feedback.
Performance History
You can view your performance history to track your progress over time:
- Past Reviews: Access completed review cycles and their outcomes
- Performance Trends: See how your performance metrics have changed over time
- Historical Feedback: Review feedback from previous review cycles
- Goal Tracking: See which goals you've achieved and which are still in progress
Understanding Your Compensation
You can view your compensation history and understand how your compensation has changed:
Compensation Information Available
- Current Compensation: Your current base salary and compensation components
- Compensation History: Historical compensation changes and effective dates
- Compensation Components: Breakdown of base salary, bonuses, and other components
- Change Reasons: Understand why compensation changes were made (e.g., promotion, annual review)
Note: Compensation information is typically updated after review cycles are completed and approvals are finalized. If you don't see recent changes, they may still be in the approval process.
